Tangdao Bay Binhai Park
Introduction:
Tangdao Bay Binhai Park is located in Huangdao District on the west coast of Qingdao. It is a large-scale coastal park built around theTangdao Bay. It is divided into two areas, the North Shore and the South Bank. It has the reputation of “West Lake at Sea” and “Qingdao West Garden”. The Tangdao Bay Binhai Park is a city park and all resources are free to the public.
North Side children’s carnival area, sports areas, and very nice seaside walking and hanging out. A bike path going around to the south with 5-Car Gates where you can drive in, park and enjoy the park. Gate #1 on the east side in-between the high rise apartments on south to Gates #2 to #5 at the end across from the Wyndham Hotel.
Great place to spend a day with the kids, a romantic walk with the partner and great place to ride or rent a bike and get some exercise.
When planning and designing, the park draws on the experience of Shanghai World Expo Park and Australia’s Cairns Park, Sydney Darling Harbour and other famous domestic and foreign landscape parks. It combines local cultural heritage with natural features. The local cultural elements such as fishing net gallery, Huangdao paper-cut, South Side Seagrass House were well used in the construction of the park, and the design plan won the Environmental Gold Award for the “National Habitat Classical Architecture Planning and Design Competition”.
