Qingdao Bai Bo Oral Hospital Huangdao is part of the Baibo Oral Medical Group (By-Bo Oral Medical Group) is part of a large medical group, with agencies and divisions such as oral medicine, medical institutions, hospital management, medical equipment marketing, denture processing, hospital (outpatient) decoration design to name a few.

ByBo Huangdao is a nice clean and professional dental service facility with dozens of rooms, modern equipment and friendly staff to assist you. In 2017 during my last visit it cost 300 RMB for a general cleaning with what they call “painless cleaning” for 580 RMB.

The best medical services in my opinion is still in Qingdao at one of the two Hospitals listed below: Qingdao Municipal Hospital – International Clinic on Donghai Road and the Qingdao United Family Hospital where you will find western type service and English speaking staff and some western doctors.

Qingdao University Affiliated Hospital Huangdao District
Qingdao University Affiliated Hospital Huangdao District (Qingdao West Coast Hospital) is the latest public hospital in Kaifaqu as of 2017. It is rated as a Level 3, Class A facility but as far as Westerner’s are concerned it is just a little newer Chinese hospital open to the public around May 2011.

The hospital is located in the development Zone (Kaifaqu) on 1677 – Wutaishan Road and covers an area of 138,000 square meters with a total investment of 1.08 billion yuan. Huangdao district currently has more than 1800 employees, including more than 160 senior professional and technical personnel, more than 80 PhD, more than 300 master’s degree. On this basis, the hospital more than 700 experts, professors, management personnel operate modern equipment such as 3.0T nuclear magnetic resonance, digital tablet angiography machine, digital breast machine, abdominal multi-functional three-dimensional/four-dimensional color Doppler ultrasound diagnosis, Olympus Gastroscope, colonoscopy, Nasopharyngeal Laryngoscope and a variety of modern testing equipment.

Building area of 40,000 square meters of 23-storey complex with more than 1800 beds, 30 clinical departments including an emergency department, Pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, rehabilitation medicine, neurology, neurosurgery, general surgery and other professional departments.

Qingdao Kaifaqu #1 Peoples Hospital
Qingdao Development Zone First People’s Hospital was founded in October 1989, is located in Qingdao Huangdao District north of the Aeon (former Jusco) on Wuyishan Road is the bus stop and official address being #9 Huangpujiang Road. It is the most popular city hospital used by foreigners as it is easy to get to as compared with the newer hospital discussed above.

Hospital covers an area of 37,000 square meters, building area of 47,000 square meters, fixed assets of 260 million yuan.
