Qingdao opens the Jiaozhou Bay Bridge and the Jiaozhou Bay Tunnel. The Jiaozhou Bay bridge sets world record for the longest over the water bridge at 41.5 Kilometers. The tunnel is not a world record but also impressive at 7.8 KM with an off ramp part way through.
